It is not very often you hear a Business Expo in combination with a fundraiser. But on August 30th that is exactly what will be going on at The Garden Event Center in Terrell. This will be the second annual Small Business Expo in Terrell organized by Harlequin Solutions. Last year a total of 34 businesses was represented and it turned out to a great event. This year, it is also integrated with a fundraiser for Terrell Volunteer Fire Department. They are raising money for a new Station #3 that will be located north of Terrell, In Poetry.
There will be both a silent auction and a raffle going on. All the money raised will be going to the Volunteer Fire Department. All vendors at the business expo are encouraged to donate something for either of the fundraisings. “We are looking for any donations” says the organizer Cilla Wichmann. “We wanted to find a cause for the fundraising that could benefit everyone in the community, and what better could it be than the Fire Department?”.
If your business want to donate something for the fundraiser, big or small, call Harlequin Solutions Office on 469-410-2333 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
A Fire truck will be visiting the event, as well as firefighters, a fire dog and many other events. This will be an event for the entire community. A great time to meet and greet the people who risk their lives for the community, as well as business people in and around Terrell.
The Business Expo has room for 30 vendors this year. A vendor table is $20 and includes a table and two chairs. It is first come first serve. When the 30 slots are taken, the admission will close or on August 25th. More information about becoming a vendor is found on Harlequin Solutions Website.
