On September 28th the Library will have a Town Hall Meeting where a consultant will be invited to present different opportunities that the Library might have. The Riter C. Hulsey Library is in need of space. There is no doubt about that. Boxes and books are piled up and the library has several storage units. Many of the larger events is off site, simply because of space. The situation is becoming more and more severe.
Just this summer, 608 kids was registered in the summer programs. 340 kids reached certificate level! The Library has several events during the fall as well. Every Wednesday at 10:30 am is story time for the ages 0-5 years that are open to the public. In October is teen read week and of course the Halloween Trick or Treating. The Library can as well assist you with all kind of research, video and other services.
