This fall the Library will be seeking public input to help shape the services, programs and spaces that best fit Terrell strengths and culture.

On September 28th the Library will have a Town Hall Meeting where a consultant will be invited to present different opportunities that the Library might have. The consultant will show how other Libraries are set up, both smaller and larger. The Library hopes to get input from the public about a new library as well as let the public know more about what the the possibilities with a new library are!

The Riter C. Hulsey Library is in need of space. There is no doubt about that. Boxes and books are piled up and the library has several storage units. Many of the larger events is off site, simply because of space. The situation is becoming more and more severe.

Just this summer, 608 kids was registered in the summer programs. 340 kids reached certificate level! The Library has several events during the fall as well. Every Wednesday at 10:30 am is story time for the ages 0-5 years that are open to the public. In October is teen read week and of course the Halloween Trick or Treating. The Library can as well assist you with all kind of research, video and other services.

You can find the latest updates from the Library on their Facebook Page.
