Terrell High School Theatre Booster Organization is kicking off their fundraiser for their trip to New York in January. This Thursday, September 8th they will host a Spaghetti Dinner & Silent Auction right before the E! Terrell Concert. It will be at the Terrell High School West Cafeteria. The tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or by any THS Theatre Student.
This will be the first of three fundraisers this fall. All will be in conjunction to the E! Terrell shows. The October (18th) will be a BBQ Dinner and the November (3rd) will involve something with Chili, if that is Chili dinner or cook off is still to be determined.
They are also trying to find donations for the silent auction. If you would like to donate something for them please contact Donna Watford at 214-500-2246.
The theatre kids are very excited about this trip. They will be able to visit some musicals and plays and as well go behind the scenes and meet the cast from some of the productions. A day is also scheduled to tour New York with all their fantastic venues. With these fundraisers they try to lower the cost as much as possible for each child to pay. The cost for one kid is approximately $1300 and it is about 20 kids plus directors and parents going so there is a lot of money to raise.
